What can be yummier then scones? I’m not sure… its pretty close to heaven when they come out of the oven and eat them warm with butter and a little bit of jam stuck in the middle.
For this recipe I used a combination of the Joy of Cooking and a little bit of my friend Nicole’s recipe…. Basically the only difference was using an Unbleached flour and no eggs.. to quote Nicole.. it gives it a much nuttier taste.
These scones are much richer then ordinary biscuits because of the addition of the cream.
