Scones 1st recipe of the challenge

What can be yummier then scones? I’m not sure… its pretty close to heaven when they come out of the oven and eat them warm with butter and a little bit of jam stuck in the middle.
For this recipe I used a combination of the Joy of Cooking and a little bit of my friend Nicole’s recipe…. Basically the only difference was using an Unbleached flour and no eggs.. to quote Nicole.. it gives it a much nuttier taste.
These scones are much richer then ordinary biscuits because of the addition of the cream.

I can tell you this after seeing how easy it was to make and how delicious it was I am going to have to hit the gym a little extra this week!
